CONFERENCE... WHAT CONFERENCE???

Yes... it is true. Last September a lot of people had the misfortune of having to listen to me for about 20 minutes on a topic related with my current research. It was a good experience (for me, not for them, of course). It was my first international conference and I managed to present a paper. This is the first slide .
Not bad, having this opportunity. Again…for those who know me, I don’t have much trouble speaking. However, they also know that I tend to speak fast. And when you only have 20 minutes and you’re slightly nervous (for the first 10 seconds before I start firing away), it just makes it worse. Anyway, everything went well and I managed to give my presentation. Hope more will come… but not soon.
